About the Role
Do you want to participate in the international development of a French start-up? We are constantly seeking to strengthen the existing ICARE team around values such as goodwill, team spirit, desire, and determination.
Responsibilities
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging (Using Jira, Agile méthodologies, Unit testing, etc.)
• Write clean code to develop scalable API server
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Monitoring server performance, capacity, and security issues to ensure optimal performance
• Designing, developing, and maintaining databases to store and retrieve data (SQL, NoSQL, Object storage)
• Perform tests to optimize performance
• Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications
• Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Gather, document, and address technical and design requirements
• Provide training and support to internal teams
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Liaise with developers, the Lead dev and CTO to identify new features
• Follow emerging technologies and conducting research
Requirements and skills
• Proven work experience as a senior Back-end developer (10 years +)
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
• Hands on experience with programming languages like PHP, JavaScript, and Python
• Working knowledge of Restful API frameworks and norms
• Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, and CSS)
• Excellent analytical and time management skills
• Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
• Ability to articulate your thoughts correctly
• BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• English native or working pro-efficiency
As a plus
• Experience working with Front-end developers
• Experience working Kubernetes, Docker, Scaleway, AWS or Google Cloud
• Experience in developing large, complex software products
• Skills in Unix environment
• Experience mentoring/leading a small group of programmers
• French working pro-efficiency
• An interest in artificial intelligence
